Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) Compliant Fresh Air Supply System
29 CFR 1910.134 states that:
“(a) Permissible practice. (1) In the control of those occupational diseases caused by breathing air contaminated with harmful dusts, fogs, fumes, mists, gases, smokes, sprays, or vapors, the primary objective shall be to prevent atmospheric contamination.”
To avoid and prevent any occupational diseases from manifesting, National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) approved respirators and hoods can be connected to these portable breathing air blowers. In addition, the breathing air blowers can also act as a stand-alone air source.
Of course, for these breathing air blowers to be OSHA compliant, they must be placed in clean, Grade “D” breathable air as stated in 29 CFR 1910.
